Maia is the Program Administrator at the Center for Law, Energy, & the Environment (CLEE), supporting the day-to-day logistical needs of its projects. She primarily facilitates communications, expenses, and events. Prior to joining CLEE, she worked in student engagement, attending to the needs of elementary, college, and law students in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles, respectively. She is committed to building community nesting spaces and developing systems around accessibility and care.
Maia holds a B.A. in Literature with a concentration in Poetry and Creative Writing, in which she wrote a chapbook of poems navigating grief, play, and the spaces between them. Her poetry has been published in literary magazines Chinquapin and Red Wheelbarrow. She loves crochet and spicy chicken sandwiches.
