Georgia Valentine

Georgia Valentine joined the Policy Advocacy Clinic in fall 2022 as research policy fellow of the national Debt Free Justice Campaign. In that position, Georgia marshaled data, resources, and expertise to develop, implement, and monitor a national research plan to expand and deepen state-level efforts to abolish juvenile fees and fines. In 2024, Georgia became PAC’s research director, where she supports the research needs of client projects focused primarily on adult fee reform but across all areas of practice. She is an alumna of Occidental College, UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy, and the clinic, where she supported a juvenile fee abolition campaign in Tennessee and wrote her master’s thesis on behalf of the California Debt Free Justice coalition about state restitution reform.
