The Office of the Dean of Students is here to support you throughout your time at Berkeley Law.

Our office provides academic advising and support services to all students, as well as career advising to LLM students. Law students are encouraged to reach out to discuss academic plans, academic policies, questions about the profession, personal concerns, summer jobs, accommodations, and other matters.

In addition, our office works with the Student Association at Berkeley Law (SABL) and all student organizations, supporting their social and community activities. Special funding is made available for individual J.D. and LL.M. students, with prior application and approval, for attendance at legal conferences.

The Office of the Dean of Students is a resource if something happens in a classroom or in the law school that makes a student uncomfortable or concerned.
