The Access Reports newsletter has been the preeminent resource for freedom of information and privacy issues for nearly 50 years. The Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic is pleased to partner with Access Reports’ editor and publisher, Harry A. Hammitt, to publicly share an archive of the most recent decade of Access Reports issues.
Access Reports newsletters provide comprehensive coverage of access to government information issues. The newsletters track policy trends and summarize and analyze court decisions, federal and state legislation, regulations, and agency guidance. Topics Access Reports covers include the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, the Sunshine Act, the Federal Advisory Committee Act, classification, access to court records and proceedings, the cost and value of information dissemination, and the role of the private sector in information policy.
