Class Observations

If you wish to observe a class during your visit to the Law School, the following classes are able to accommodate visitors:

Constitutional Law with Dean Erwin Chemerinsky
Any Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: January 16 through April 19, 2024*
8:40 – 9:50 am in Room 105

We do not require advance registration for the classes listed above, however capacity is limited and we cannot guarantee that the classroom will be able to accommodate all visitors. We ask that you arrive at the classroom 5-10 minutes early and sit in the back of the classroom as there may be assigned seats. If you’re visiting outside of these dates and wish to sit in on a class, please review our Schedule of Classes and reach out to the instructor of the course to ask if they are willing to accommodate a visitor.

Class will not be offered on January 15-16, February 19, February 26, March 25-29, or April 17

In-Person Tours and Information Sessions

In-person information sessions and tours are paused until fall 2024, but we invite you to watch our latest recorded information sessions

Looking for a Self-Guided Tour? Stop by our office to pick up a Prospectus and instructions on how to take a self-guided tour of the Law Building. While our law students spend the bulk of their time within the Law Building, we also recommend taking a free, guided walking tour of the main UC Berkeley campus during your visit (advanced registration is required).
