In cases of life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 first.

• From a cell phone, call 510-981-5911 to reach the City of Berkeley Police.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Call 911 if you have a life-threatening medical emergency. The hospital emergency room closest to campus is Alta Bates Hospital, 2450 Ashby Ave, just east of Telegraph Ave.

CORONAVIRUS

The latest updates on COVID-19 policies and resources for the UC Berkeley campus community are posted at coronavirus.berkeley.edu, including protocols for reporting potential COVID-19 cases. 

MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY

If you are in crisis, go to Counseling and Psychological Services on the 3rd floor of the Tang Center for open drop-in hours (M -F, 10am – 5pm), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
