Jeff Bleich ’89, former U.S. Ambassador to Australia and managing partner at Munger Tolles & Olson, explains why he gives to Berkeley Law.
This is a remarkable time at Berkeley Law. With a new dean have come new ideas and a continuation of our commitment to be the best public law school in the country.
Thanks largely to alumni and friends, we’ve launched fundraising efforts that help provide critical financial aid, diversify our student body, create startup programs that connect entrepreneurs with new attorneys, and build international partnerships that broaden our global reach. We also launched our first clinic in more than decade, focused on environmental law, and another clinic focused on policy advocacy.
Further, we have expanded our summer public interest work stipends to help more students get valuable work experience. And we are bolstering our professional skills curriculum so new graduates can hit the ground running.
It’s a great time to invest in Berkeley Law.
