The Application Process to Become an LL.M. student
The application process begins when you visit the Law School Admission Council website, where you must establish an account, and submit an application, a personal statement, a résumé or C.V., transcripts from all of your college or university-level schools, and 2-3 recommendation letters. You must also submit an English-language proficiency score (either TOEFL or IELTS), or request a waiver through the application.

LL.M. Deadlines for 2027–28
Applications for all LL.M. programs are open!
LL.M. Executive Track — Remote + Summer
The application for the 2027 LL.M. executive track (remote + summer option) closes November 16. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis.
LL.M. Executive Track — Two Summer Option
The application for the 2027 LL.M. executive track (two summer option) closes March 15. International applicants who will require a visa to attend the program should apply by February 15. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis.
LL.M. Traditional Track
The application for the 2027 LL.M. traditional track closes February 1. Applicants who have submitted a complete application by the priority deadline of December 1 will receive an earlier admissions decision (by January 15), priority consideration for scholarship awards, and will not need to pay the $80 application fee. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis.
