Visiting Berkeley Law
The UC Berkeley campus and Berkeley Law building are currently closed due to COVID-19. Visitors are prohibited on campus and in the Law Building. However, we encourage you to take a self-guided virtual tour of the Law Building in our slideshow above, as well as get acquainted with law school and the Bay Area in the videos below.
First, start in the dynamic and lively halls of Berkeley Law.
Then, see what makes Berkeley and the Bay Area so amazing.
Online Information Sessions
Join us for an online applicant information session to learn about the application requirements, our review process, and a little bit about what Berkeley Law has to offer. These sessions will range from general overviews to specific workshops focused on a single topic. You must register for the information session that you would like to attend. Select sessions will be recorded and posted to the webinars page.
Even though we won’t be able to see you in person this fall, we hope that you will join us for a virtual event. We have been busy planning an all virtual recruitment season and have various events and panels that are open for you to explore. We hope you will join us for LSAC digital forums, law school fairs, and various panels and workshops that we have planned.
Attend a Mock Classs
While we can’t invite you to observe a class, we’ve created an opportunity for prospective applicants to meet our faculty and engage with real course materials. We hope these mock classes will give you a good idea of what it would be like to enroll at Berkeley Law.
Connect with Students
Looking to connect with a current JD student? Feel free to email one of our admissions ambassadors. They are happy to connect with you to tell you more about student life, their interests, and what they’re involved in at Berkeley Law.
Virtual Office Hours with Dean Alvarez
Join Kristin Theis-Alvarez, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, for monthly virtual office hours. You are welcome to “drop-in” at any time during office hours.
