Silvia is a doctoral student at U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Her research focuses on the intersection of business law and environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects.
Previously, she received an LL.M. from U.C. Berkeley and an LL.B. from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. She also holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Methodist University of São Paulo. Before studying at Berkeley, she worked as a journalist for over ten years in the main news media in Brazil, covering business, corporate governance, securities regulation and financial markets.
