Final Exam Review Session Schedule

If you are giving a final exam of any type (take-home or in-house), you are required to hold a review session. The Registrar’s Office schedules review sessions on the regular meeting day of a class that falls within the review period. If you offer a class on a day not within the review period, the Registrar’s Office will contact you to arrange a time.  Please see: “Review Sessions/Reading Period” in the academic calendar – https://www.law.berkeley.edu/php-programs/courses/academic_calendars.php.

Mandatory review sessions are designed to review material covered during the semester. Therefore, you may not introduce new material in the session. Review sessions are most successful when you give your insights into the material or an overview of the semester’s topics; they are least successful when you simply ask for questions from the students. Students particularly appreciate your discussion of model exam questions. Exams from previous years are posted on the law library webpage at https://www.law.berkeley.edu/library/dynamic/exams/. You can have old exams and model exams added to the site by sending them to Michael Levy (mlevy@law.berkeley.edu).
