LL.M. Tuition & Fees

Tuition and fees represent the direct financial obligations payable to the University of California, Berkeley. Typically, tuition fees increase by 3% to 5% annually, with final adjustments determined by the Regents of the University of California in July. Please be aware that the officially approved tuition and fee amounts may deviate from the figures outlined below.

2025-2026 Cost of Attendance

The Cost of Attendance (COA) or “budget” for a student is an estimate of that student’s educational expenses for the period of enrollment. It includes billed expenses, such as tuition and fees, as well as estimated living expenses. All amounts are in U.S. Dollars.

**The living expenses above include the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). SHIP is compulsory for all UC students, and enrollment is automatic. However, students may retain SHIP or waive enrollment if they have alternative coverage that meets the University’s specified criteria.

How to Pay for Tuition and Fees

Students can view their account balance through CalCentral by logging in to CalCentral and selecting the “My Finances” tab at the top of the page. There, students can see their fees and due dates. To view more account information, click “View Transactions”.
