Pandemic

UC Berkeley’s focus is always on what is in the best interest of the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, as well as the health and safety of potential visitors to the campus.  The thresholds that trigger campus and building closures and other campus-wide public health and safety measures will be made by UC Berkeley administration, based on science and guidance from public health officials at the city, county, state and federal levels.

As with the Covid-19 Pandemic, the leadership team at Berkeley Law, with advice from the Emergency Preparedness Committee, will monitor any public health crisis that arises and provide guidance and recommendations to the law school administration regarding law school-specific  protocols and procedures, services, classes, exams, academic evaluation, events and programs.

Remember to stay home if you are sick,  especially in the event of a pandemic or epidemic, but at all other times as well.   Be vigilant with hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask, whenever this is  recommended by health officials.
