Kayla is the Program Coordinator at the Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment (CLEE) where she assists with the Environment and Energy Law program, as well as day-to-day programming, event planning, and more. Prior to working at CLEE, Kayla worked in student affairs in higher education. Her most recent role before joining CLEE was being a New Student Advisor at UCLA. Here she focused on supporting students as they transition to a new university, providing both academic and peer advice. She also worked closely with transfer students, being one herself, ensuring that the transfer community had the right resources and support during and after their orientation.

Kayla graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, concentrating on comparative politics, in addition to a minor in Public Affairs. Her many passions have allowed her to work in fields ranging from higher education to local government. She is excited to be a part of CLEE and working with others that aim to create a greener planet for us and our future generations.
