Kasia Kosmala-Dahlbeck is a Research Fellow in CLEE’s Climate Program, specializing in innovative governance models for clean energy infrastructure deployment. Her research investigates mechanisms for financing a just energy transition and accelerating equitable climate policy implementation at scale.

As a graduate researcher, Kasia worked with New Zealand government officials and the OECD to evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing frameworks in economic and climate policy. She previously managed international policy portfolios at the British Foreign Policy Group, working closely with UK government departments on community engagement and development finance.

Kasia has also held multiple research positions at UCLA, where she helped facilitate local environmental policy solutions at the Sustainable Los Angeles Grand Challenge. Kasia holds an MSc from UCL’s transdisciplinary Institute for Sustainable Resources and a BA in Political Science from UCLA. She is a founding member of a climate startup financing policy advocacy projects in 14 countries, and her community work has been recognized by the California State Assembly.
