Amy Wax’s work addresses issues in social welfare law and policy as well as the relationship of the family, the workplace, and labor markets. By bringing to bear her training in biomedical sciences and appellate practice as well as her interest in economic analysis, Wax has developed a uniquely insightful approach to problems in her areas of expertise.

Mickey Kaus has written for Slate.comThe New Republic, Harper’sThe Washington Monthly, Daily Caller and other publications.  In 2010 he was a candidate for the U.S. Senate in the Democratic primary. He is author of The End of Equality, published in 1992, which is about how to be a liberal when the gap between rich and poor is growing and “no one knows how to stop it.”
