EBCLC Connectivity via VPN – OSX

We only support OS X 10.12 and higher. Please read through all 6 steps to be able to print and access the network folders.

  1. Make sure you are connected to the VPN as outlined in the previous instructions. You will need to be connected to the VPN whenever you want to access the network share and printers.
  2. From within “Finder”, click “Go” -> “Connect to Server…”  To get to Finder, click an empty space on your desktop.  You can also press “Option” + “K”.

  6. To Print:
Adeline location – To add printers, browse to the EBCLC folder (highland.law.berkeley.edu/Clinics/EBCLC/StudentPrinters) and double click on the EBCLC Mac Adeline Standard Printers.command. After a few minutes the printers will be available.
University location – To add printers, browse to the EBCLC folder (highland.law.berkeley.edu/Clinics/EBCLC/StudentPrinters) and double click on the EBCLC Mac University Standard Printers.command. After a few minutes the printers will be available.

You will now be able to access EBCLC network files and printers as long as you are connected to the VPN. The VPN will disconnect whenever you lose network access (say from closing the lid of your laptop). Please make sure you save any work before disconnecting from the VPN.
