iPads in the Classroom

The law school has iPads in most classrooms, connected to the projector.  These iPads have multiple apps installed, including Powerpoint.

The easiest way to get your files to the iPad in your classroom is to email them (see below for addresses).  After emailing them to your room prior to class, follow these simple steps to bring up your slides on the iPad:

  • Open the Gmail app.
  • Open your email message.
  • Click on your file attachment to preview it.
  • Click on the Share icon and choose Powerpoint (or Keynote if it’s a Keynote file).
  • Once in Powerpoint, Select Slideshow and From Start to present.

Classroom Email Addresses

Each room’s iPad has its own email address. These addresses are in the campus directory, so they should auto-populate as you begin to type them into the recipients field, in most email programs. The addresses are listed below, and also displayed on each iPad:
