iPads in the Classroom

The law school has iPads at the podium of almost every classroom, connected to the projection. These iPads have multiple apps installed that are useful for teaching, including but not limited to presentation apps like Powerpoint. 

Presenting Powerpoint using the iPads

The easiest way to get your files to the iPad in your classroom is to email them (see below for addresses).

After emailing them to your room prior to class, follow these simple steps to bring up your slides on the iPad:

  • Launch ‘Gmail’ app
  • Tap your email message
  • Tap on your file attachment to preview it
  • Tap on the Share icon and choose ‘Powerpoint’ (or Keynote if it’s a Keynote file)
  • Once in Powerpoint, Select Slideshow and From Start to present
  • Swipe to advance slides

Classroom Email Addresses

Each room’s iPad has its own email address. These addresses are in the campus directory, so they should auto-populate as you begin to type them into the recipients field, in most email programs. The addresses are listed below, and also displayed on each iPad:
