MCLE FAQS

What Type of Credit does the Symposium fulfill?

Under MCLE Rules and Regulations Rule 4.1.1 the symposium fulfills the participatory credit requirement. California attorneys must participate in at least 12.5 hours of participatory credit per compliance period.

Why do I only receive 1 hour of credit, even though some of the panel discussions last 1.5 hours?

Under MCLE Rules and Regulations Rule 7.1.4 a participatory activity that is more than one hour in length must distribute substantive written materials to all participants. The nature of the symposium prohibits this, therefore in order to comply with MCLE Rules and Regulations, only one hour of MCLE credit is offered per panel discussion.
