Amendments to Author Copyright Agreements

We currently have an arrangement with Business Contracts to expedite the processing of these agreements, provided that there are no changes made to the agreements by the authors.

If an author has a problem with any portions of the agreement, it is imperative that you bring these issues up with the Publications Coordinator AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

If we do not have a signed author copyright agreement in place for a particular author at the time the issue is due to go to press, the article CANNOT BE INCLUDED in the issue.

If given notice ahead of time, we can hopefully work with the author in order to explain certain things within the agreement, or work towards making the agreement more amenable to the author.

Simple changes, such as requesting that no fees be charged for reprint permission requests, are easily accommodated.

One issue, however, that we are NOT able to make any changes is to the Author Indemnification Clause.
