National Flash Trial Competition is Looking for Judges
The National Flash Trial Competition is hosting its fifth annual mock trial tournament, and they are currently looking for lawyers and litigators in the area to judge the competition. The competition will be held at JAMS in San Francisco, located on the 15th Floor of Embarcadero Center, No. 2. Those who judge rounds at NFTC will be eligible to receive CLE credit. Alumni Reunion Weekend
This year, we celebrate the milestone anniversaries of graduating classes ending in ‘1’ and ‘6’. The weekend begins on Friday evening with our Reunion Kickoff Party on our beautiful rooftop terrace and continues on Saturday with lunch, CLE programs including Dean Chemerinsky’s Supreme Court Update, and law school tours. Volunteer Opportunities
Become a 1L Alumni Guide – Virtual
J.D. alumni! Please consider becoming an Alumni Guide. These volunteers connect with an incoming 1L student in August to welcome them to the Berkeley Law community and answer any questions they may have as they start law school. Alumni check in with their students in early October to hear about their first six weeks at Berkeley Law and have a final check-in in January, as the students start their second semester. Meetings are held via Zoom or phone and the total time commitment is 30 minutes per meeting. The deadline to register is July 23!
