Berkeley Law Alumni Association

Our mission is to foster Berkeley Law’s tradition of educational excellence, strengthen the relationships among alumni, faculty and students and promote the development of law school resources.

If you are interested in becoming a Member, please complete this form.  We recruit new members every year. Terms begin in June and run 3 years. 

Member Requirements:

  • Personal give obligation – personally meaningful amount but also have guidelines (regular member $5K; gov’t/academia/young alum $1,500; pro bono/public interest $500); and
  • Get obligation – spend 20hr per yr participating in helping Development office to fundraise – target $20,000 per person per yr; and
  • Active involvement (eg. serve on board committees, mentorship of students, hosting events, speaking on behalf of the board, recruitment of prospective students, being on clinics/centers boards, etc.); and
  • 75% attendance at board mtgs (in person or by phone/video). Meetings are held 4x per year.
