Q: When does registration close?

A: Friday, September 23

Q: How do I check in at the event?

A: Friday and Saturday: Please go to the registration table in the East Courtyard on Bancroft Way, just outside Cafe Zeb (enter next to the large stone Berkeley Law sign) to pick up your name badge and program. Please allow time to check in and be sure to bring your name badge to all weekend events and bar ID number so that you may get credit for any CLE programs that you attend.

Sunday: Please go directly to the Bancroft Hotel for the Golden Circle Brunch.

Q: What if I need special assistance or accommodations?

A: If you require an accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) or anything else to fully participate in this event, please email reunion@law.berekley with as much advance notice as possible and no later than Friday, September 16 to ensure ample time for accommodation arrangements. All virtual events will contain closed captioning.

Q: What is the recommended attire?

A: Casual dress is suggested for Friday’s BBQ. Business casual is recommended for Saturday and Sunday events.

Q: Where do I park?

A: You may purchase reserved parking permits in nearby campus parking lots for $40 a day. Spaces are limited. For those who purchase parking as part of your reunion registration package, we will be contacting you directly via email the week of reunion with full details. Entrance to the law lot is on Optomentry Lane, off of Piedmont Ave (opposite Memorial Stadium). Your name will be on a list and there will be parking attendants in the lot to assist you.

Street parking in the neighborhood surrounding Berkeley Law is controlled by parking restrictions (e.g. two-hour limits). If you park in the City of Berkeley, please check for posted parking restrictions. Most parking meters now take both coins or credit cards.  Here is a map of nearby parking structures.

On Saturday there will be a concert at the Greek Theater. This will impact the amount of available parking spaces close to the law school. We expect parking to fill up after 4:00 pm on Saturday. The concert will also impact traffic around the law school.

Q: Are there special rates for hotel reservations?

A: There are several hotels on/close to campus that offer UC Berkeley rates. Hotel rates and availability are subject to change and will quite likely be unavailable closer to Alumni Reunion Weekend. Please contact hotels directly for their rates. A list of hotels in Berkeley can be found here: https://www.visitberkeley.com/where-to-stay/

The new Residence Inn Marriott located at 2121 Center Street in downtown Berkeley offers a discount to UC Berkeley affiliates. Book your discounted stay at the Marriott.
