Amicus briefs

berkeley law california constitution center

The center’s affiliates sometimes file amicus curiae briefs (as the California Constitution Scholars) in select cases, either by request or sua sponte. To comply with Rule of Court 8.520(f) the Scholars will not accept compensation for these briefs and will maintain full discretion throughout the drafting process.
