LL.M. Executive Track Law & Technology Certificate

The UC Berkeley Center for Law & Technology offers a specialized certificate program for currently enrolled UC Berkeley Law LL.M. Executive Track students. The certificate in Law & Technology recognizes the successful completion of a course of study focused on intellectual property law, privacy law, and other technology-related areas of law.

Deadlines

There are 2 review deadlines for the LL.M. Executive Track Law & Technology Certificate:

Friday, July 10, 2026 (Summer Graduates)
Friday, December 4, 2026 (December Graduates)

Applications will be reviewed on these two dates, and not on a rolling basis. These dates are to accommodate those students who graduate at different times of the year.

To qualify for the LL.M. Executive Track certificate, a student must complete a total of 11 units from the list of courses below for 2026.

      • Global Regulation of AI (1 unit)
      • Hot Topics in AI (Fall) (1 unit)
      • Information Privacy Law (3 units)
