BCLT presents the 1L Tech Law Careers Fair on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Bancroft Hotel. This event will be a career fair that provides a unique opportunity to meet and mingle with representatives from top law firms nationwide with a Bay Area presence.
This event is useful for those looking for 1L positions and those who are considering the pre-OCI (EIW here at Berkeley) process. We have expanded to a broader format than in the past, offering recruiting opportunities across the full spectrum of intellectual property law in a format designed for 1L students. Invited sponsor firms will send recruiters and attorneys focused on the hiring process to this event, as well as 3Ls who have accepted offers at any of the firms attending.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. to allow extra time for students to meet and mingle. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be available. Students may bring their resumes to share with recruiters. Dress code is business casual.
