| Cost of Attendance Adjustment Request (COAAR) Process |

The priority deadline to request a cost of attendance adjustment for the 2024-25 year is April 4, 2025. Submission deadline for fall only students: 11/15/2024 |
Deadline notes: April 4, 2025 is the recommended to accept additional offered loans (including completing all federal requirements such as the Master Promissory Note, Entrance Counseling, and/or the Graduate PLUS Loan requirements) to ensure disbursement before the end of the academic year. For fall only students, the deadline is December 1, 2024. |

August 11 – 29, 2025 application period is for continuing students who wish to be considered for additional need based aid beginning Fall 2025. January 5 – 23, 2026 application period is for continuing students who wish to be considered for additional need based aid beginning Spring 2026. Please email financial-aid-law@berkeley.edu once complete. Expect to hear from our office by end of July or early December, depending on the semester you’ve applied for the appeal. |
