Diana DiGennaro ’06 is a Lecturer in Residence and the Director of the Academic Skills Program at Berkeley Law. After graduating from Berkeley Law, DiGennaro clerked for two years for the Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Following her clerkship, DiGennaro practiced at the law firms of Howard Rice and Arnold & Porter LLP. Her work there focused on ethics and professional responsibility, with a particular emphasis on partnership disputes and dissolution. She also handled general business and commercial litigation matters for a wide variety of large and small companies. Her work at the firm included all aspects of pretrial and post-trial litigation.
During her time at the firm, DiGennaro spent four months at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where she first-chaired two jury trials. She also served as Chair of OneJustice’s Advisory Board and maintained a robust pro bono practice. DiGennaro’s writing about attorney liability and ethics issues has been published in The Daily Journal, The National Law Journal, and Law 360.
