Event Navigation
Canceled – will be rescheduled.
The Climate Migration & Displacement Project Board will be hosting an office hour for interested students on Wednesday, November 6 from 12:45-2 pm in Steinhart Courtyard! We will bring snacks but we encourage students to BYOL to this office hour. The Climate Migration & Displacement Project (CMDP) is a Berkeley Law pro bono project that will launch in Spring 2025. CMDP supports innovative litigation and policy research to secure rights and protections for populations displaced by climate disasters. We are currently working with Our Children’s Trust on two projects on youth mobility and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in the context of climate disasters. CMDP participants will have the opportunity to support the research of international human rights practitioners by creating legal memos, policy briefs, and literature reviews, as needed by our partners. Students in their second and third years of law school may help with jurisdictional and venue research projects. Please join us for this informal informational session on November 6 if you are interested in learning more!
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested..
