Dave Jones, Director of the Climate Risk Initiative at UC Berkeley’s Center for Law, Energy and the Environment (CLEE) is included in the Washington Post’s Post Next 50 list. The list looks at the people who are actively reshaping how America thinks, works, connects and creates.
Alex Cheng and Emily Miles, 2Ls at Berkeley Law, founded the Berkeley NIL Initiative, or BNILI, which will be supervised by executive director of the Berkeley Center For Law & Technology Wayne Stacy.
“Depending on how lower courts interpret it, the NEPA case may pose the greatest threat of a major change in the law,” University of California, Berkeley, law professor Daniel Farber said, referring to the court’s recent environmental rulings.
“We’re marching toward a future where insurance is not going to be available or affordable,” said Dave Jones, director of the Climate Risk Initiative at the University of California at Berkeley’s School of Law.
