Tarah Powell-Chen is the Privacy and Marketing Counsel for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Tarah’s responsibilities include: advising on all aspects of global privacy laws and regulations, developing and maintain privacy policies and procedures, counseling on e-commerce and brand marketing initiatives, drafting and reviewing commercial marketing and vendor contracts, advising on trademark and intellectual property matters, and addressing legislative or regulatory developments. Tarah previously practiced at a mid-size law firm in San Francisco, specializing in civil litigation, corporate formation and white collar defense. Prior to law school, Tarah interned at the Supreme Court of the United States.
