Katherine Lin joined East Bay Community Law Center as a Housing Staff Attorney and Clinical Supervisor in 2019. Prior to joining EBCLC, she was a litigation fellow at the ACLU of Northern California where she worked on a wide variety of issues, including criminal, economic, and reproductive justice cases. From 2015-2016, she clerked for the Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a former associate at the law firm of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
During law school, Katherine was a member of the Stanford Criminal Defense Clinic, where she tried a multi-day jury trial that resulted in a hung jury and eventual dismissal of the most serious charge against her client. She also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
