Come join DAB, PCAP, and DECrim for a happy hour to kick off the start of the year! Learn about what these orgs do, how to join them, and meet like-minded members of the Berkeley community. Defenders at Berkeley (DAB) is an org for students interested in public defense to meet each other, build community, and share resources and information about becoming a public defender. PCAP is a SLP where students work in teams and represent a person who currently incarcerated throughout the parole process. DECrim is a new SLP where students will identify, research, and advocate against procedural and substantive barriers in the criminal legal system that perpetuate the War on Drugs and mass incarceration.
