The Honorable Lawrence J.C. VanDyke of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit joins us for a presentation on the development, use, and arguable misuse of one of the Ninth Circuit’s stranger and more controversial rules through the prism of three cases. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A period about the talk, Judge VanDyke’s path to the bench, or anything else.
