Lunch Talk with Judge Michael J. McShane
Judge McShane lives in Junction City, Oregon, with his husband and two children. He teaches extensively on trial practice, advocacy, and evidence. As a state court judge, he presided over 29 capital cases. Appointed by President Obama to serve as a United States judge for the District of Oregon in 2013, he wrote the opinion legalizing same-gender marriage just a year later.
