The SEC’s new rules on cybersecurity disclosures provide a threshold level of good-governance practices.  They also leave those preparing 8-Ks and 10-Ks with significant ambiguity and risks. Ted Claypoole of Womble Bond Dickinson gives us an introduction to the SEC rules and the new role–at least new for some–of the board, corporate attorneys, and cybersecurity professionals.
