Join BCLT on September 23 from 6-8 PM in Goldberg (tentative) for an informational panel hosting attorneys from sponsoring boutique firms with diverse career backgrounds to discuss the differences between working at boutique and BigLaw firms. A reception will follow the panel.
This event is designed to help law students understand the key differences between high-end boutiques and general practice law firms. This event will provide you with valuable knowledge to make informed decisions about your legal career path and summer associate positions. Whether you’re drawn to the specialized expertise of a boutique firm or the broad range of services in general practice, this event will equip you with the knowledge to pursue a path that aligns with your professional aspirations.
Registration opens in August 2025! Students who register for this event will receive a list of firms and attorneys attending the event. You will also receive a list of discussion topics and questions to help you start conversations or formulate your own questions.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
