In November 2016, Professors Steven Davidoff Solomon and Stavros Gadinis returned to Seoul to delivered seminars on business law. They held their class at the academy of Bae, Kim & Lee, the second largest law firm in Korea in conjunction with the Korea LawTimes, the leading legal newspaper in Korea. Professor Solomon’s lectures focused on contract law with a special focus on international law and the internet. Professor Gadinis’ lectures addressed international business litigation issues (such as forum selection, forum nonconveniens, and law selection) and multinational corporation issues (parent liability for subsidiaries, foreign corrupt practices act, and whistleblowers) . The seminars were attended by lawyers from leading Korean law firms, companies, and universities.
