The Miller Institute is excited to celebrate Professor Saira Mohamed being named the 2025 Rutter Awardee for Teaching Distinction. The Rutter Award honors Berkeley Law professors who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to teaching. The annual award was established in 1995 by William A. Rutter, philanthropist, lawyer, educator, and author. Professor Mohamed is the Agnes Roddy Robb Chair in Jurisprudence, Ethics, and Social Responsibility and a leading scholar in the areas of criminal law and human rights, with her research focused on responses to mass atrocity and the role of armed force. The award ceremony takes place on April 28, 2025.
