A Towering Triumph

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Jennifer Madden ’97 has won UC Berkeley’s Campanile Excellence in Achievement Award, which honors an alum for remarkable professional accomplishments. A prosecutor for 20 years before joining the bench, Madden has worked tirelessly to protect girls at risk of being forced into sex trafficking, mentored young lawyers and Berkeley Law students, and strived to diversify the legal profession.
