Professor Syed’s research focuses on law and political economy, with applications to intellectual property, property, torts, antitrust, and theories of distributive justice. He has a forthcoming book, Pharmaceutical Innovation Policy—From Patents to Public Utility, and is working on a series of articles on the legal and social theory of “law and political economy,” as well as the intersection of antitrust and IP.
