The Advanced Environmental Law Clinic is for students who have completed one or more semesters in the Environmental Law Clinic and wish to continue with an ongoing Clinic project, or take on a new Clinic project, under the supervision of Clinic staff. Students may enroll for 3 to 5 credits. Enrollment is via permission of the Director(s). Students with questions can contact Steve Castleman by emailing scastleman@clinical.law.berkeley.edu.

Requirements Satisfaction:

Work in the clinic may satisfy Option 2 of the J.D. writing requirement with instructor approval. In order to satisfy Option 2, clinic students must complete a paper or series of written work that comprises 30 or more pages. Students who wish to satisfy the writing requirement must get instructor approval and submit their draft for comment and revision.

This class may satisfy either the writing requirement or the experiential requirement but not both.
