The NIL Practicum is the client-counseling course that corresponds to the NIL Seminar. The NIL Practicum will focus on assisting student-athletes from around the entire state of California with actual legal issues arising in their NIL deals. Each law student will be supervised by leading practitioners. The Practicum must be taken at the same time as the NIL Seminar. The application for the Practicum is available in the course description for the NIL Practicum Seminar or here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf4ntCiKvF3mzQLSCjQlYXd-ym2r7b11fG3o-04BU1Lu7ivLw/viewform

Applications must be submitted by the end of day on April 8th. After this date, admission will continue on a rolling basis. Students should expect a response within one week.

If you are selected for the Seminar, you will be accepted for the Practicum.

Attendance at the first class is mandatory for all currently enrolled and waitlisted students; any currently enrolled or waitlisted students who are not present on the first day of class (without prior permission of the instructor) will be dropped. The instructor will continue to take attendance throughout the add/drop period and anyone who moves off the waitlist into the class must continue to attend or have prior permission of the instructor in order not to be dropped.
