This survey course explores the basic principles of U.S. common law that govern contracts, including issues of formation, breach, enforcement, and remedies. Students will also study the related doctrinal principles codified in the Uniform Commercial Code, a model for the law shaping sales and other commercial transactions, and the Restatement Second of Contracts. Textbook: Barnett & Oman, Contracts: Cases and Doctrine (7th Ed.)
Remote + Summer Students PLEASE NOTE: You cannot take Contractsl in the fall semester if you take it in the summer.
