Work relationships are changing dramatically on account of technology, migration, business practices, and worker organizing, and the law of work is changing as well. This seminar will examine recent and upcoming developments in the law, with particular focus on workers who are vulnerable because of immigration or socioeconomic status, race, gender, or ethnicity. The seminar will feature guest speakers who are engaged in significant legal, policy, and organizing work addressing the most pressing work law issues of the day. The seminar may serve as an introduction to the field of work law for students with no prior experience, but will also interest students who have taken work law courses.
