This course examines the law of proof, with special attention to the Federal Rules of Evidence, and coverage of the California Evidence Code where the two materially differ. Topics include relevance, hearsay, character evidence, authentication, privileges, impeachment and rehabilitation, expert witnesses, and scientific evidence.
