Beth George most recently served as a Deputy General Counsel in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Previously, she served as an Associate Counsel in the White House Counsel’s Office, where she was the lead counsel for the response to the largest cybersecurity breach of the United States government. After clerking on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Beth George joined the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division as an Honors Attorney, where she practiced before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. She went on to work on the Department’s response to the unauthorized disclosures by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and later served as the first Department of Justice attorney to be detailed to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
