Assaf Hamdani is the Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz Professor of Corporate Law at the Hebrew University, Jersualem, and a Visiting Professor at Berkeley Law. He was a Visiting Professor at Columbia Law School, Harvard Law School, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
His research areas are corporate law, corporate governance, securities regulation, and law and economics. His research has been published in law reviews, including the Yale Law Journal, California Law Review, Columbia Law Review, and Stanford Law Review and in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Review of Finance. He chaired Israel’s Committee on Institutional Investors and Capital Markets and served as a member of Israel’s Securities Authority, and as an advisor to Israel’s Committee on Institutional Investors’ Investment in Corporate Bonds.
