[BLB] Regulating Cryptocurrency in a Post-FTX World: Lunch Talk with Professor Hermine Wong

Join Blockchain and Law at Berkeley (BLB) for an interactive lunch talk with Hermine Wong, who will be teaching Regulation and Policy of Crypto and web3 in the Spring 2024 semester. Professor Wong is deeply engaged in the legal and regulatory space of cryptocurrency, having formerly served as Head of Policy at Coinbase and Special Counsel at the SEC.

Professor Wong will introduce basic concepts of blockchain and cryptocurrency, the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape in the U.S., and how law students of diverse backgrounds may find career interests in this field. She will also discuss the contour and implications of the recent trial of Sam Bankman-Fried that have attracted great media interest.

The talk will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Room 110. Lunch will be provided. RSVP here.
