Event Navigation
Join BCLT for a careers panel with Fenwick & West, Phillips Erlewine Given & Carlin, Orrick, and Bailey & Glasser attorneys who will discuss the topic of “Content Creation Protection (Copyright, Name & Likeness, Open Source Licensing)” in a panel moderated by BCLT Executive Director, Wayne Stacy. The panelists will discuss career paths for protecting content creators, artists, influencers, celebrities, and athletes. This unique compare-and-contrast program format brings together a mix of attorneys at different levels in their careers to give a better view of what a firm and particular practice actually looks like.
At the networking portion of this series, Julie Reese from the CIA Office of General Counsel will be in attendance.
This program is geared toward 1Ls focused on pre-OCI opportunities, and to the 2Ls and 3Ls who mentor or would like more information on these firms and their approach to associate hiring, training, and development for innovation protection practices. The program helps students understand the differences and similarities between law firms and their tech practices by comparing them side by side.
The discussion will be followed by a reception with light refreshments in Steinhart Courtyard.
This event is reserved only for J.D. students. RSVP is now open!
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested.
